Zinc Octoate

Zinc 2-EthylHexanoate

  • Zinc octoate is an auxiliary drier and generally used in conjunction with redox metals
  • Zinc drier keep the film “Open” by retarding surface drying, therefore improves through drying and prevents wrinkling, particularly in Cobalt containing films & enamels
  • Zinc is a powerful wetting and dispersing agent
  • Zinc octoate has a very light color so it can be added without discoloring the film
