  • Lead octoate is a through drier and promotes an even through drying
  • It functions throughout the entire thickness of the film and increases the flexibility, toughness and durability of the film
  • In conjunction with Butyl titanate, lead octoate is used as an accelerator for the hardening of silicon resins.
  • Lead octoate improves the water and salt resistance of the film
  • It improves the drying time of double boiled linseed oil, and yields clear and very pale boiled oil.
